How do I register and create my account?
Creating an account with us enables you to shop at rhythmhouse.in.
All you have to do is register with rhythmhouse.in to make use of shopping cart, wishlist and stock alert functionalities. Providing your details will also enable us to communicate with you as and when the need arises.

How do I shop at rhythmhouse.in?
Login
You will need to have registered with the site to login providing your Username and Password. You can then go ahead and use the functionalities described below.
My Cart
Choose the item(s) you want by clicking the "Cart" button. Your selection will be seen in both Mini Cart and the more detailed My Cart displays.
Wishlist
Action is similar to My Cart, except that here you place items that you want to buy but not necessarily straightaway. When you visit the site again, review these items, delete if no longer interested, let items remain as is, or even shift to My Cart should you decide to buy on this visit.
Stock Alert
Once again, action is similar to My Cart. As soon as the item becomes available, you will receive an email alert telling you so. You may then shift it to My Wishlist or My Cart.
Checkout (for shipments within India)
Once your cart selection is finalized, click the "Checkout" button. Whilst billing details are picked up from your registration, you will have the choice to modify shipping details, in case you wish to send the order to yourself at another address, or to a friend or relative elsewhere within India. Thereafter, continue with the next step in Checkout which is a final review of your order, and then select payment mode. If you select Cash on Delivery (applicable for Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai addresses only), Cash/Cheque Deposit (into the Rhythm House Bank of India account), or Demand Draft/Cheque payable at par (Mumbai), you are straightaway requested to confirm your order. On the other hand, if you select Credit Card/Internet Banking, you will be taken to the payment gateway website for processing authorization.
Checkout (for shipments to destinations abroad)
Once your cart selection is finalized, click the "Checkout" button. Whilst billing address details are picked up from your registration, you will have the choice to modify shipping address details, in case you wish to send the order to yourself at another address, or to a friend or relative elsewhere. Thereafter, continue with the next step in Checkout which is a final review of your order and then click "Confirm Order". You will be advised thereafter to await an email giving you shipping costs and related payment information.

How do I search & browse in rhythmhouse.in?
Search
At any point in the site, the keyword search can be used to search for any product across all categories. If you wish to refine this, select options shown in the two drop-down boxes alongside. To conduct a more specific search use Advanced Search. Similarly an advanced search is also provided in case you need to conduct a more specific search.
Browse
The left column in the site displays respective genres. You can click on any of these genres to view a full listing of what is currently available in that genre. The default view is by Arrival Date of the main Genre. You may alter this by selecting from the options shown in the sub-category and View By drop-downs. Clicking on the title of any item in the listing pages takes you to a details page where more information about the product is provided.

What is a shopping cart?
A shopping cart is a virtual carry-cart that displays the number of items you have chosen to purchase, along with the total amount of your purchase. You can view your shopping cart by glancing at the Mini Cart in the right column or by clicking the My Cart link in the Mini Cart or in the top bar.

How do I update my cart?
You can make the following changes to the current items in your shopping cart:
Change the Quantity
To add or deduct the quantity of a particular item, click in the box where the quantity is mentioned, change the quantity and click on the on "Update My Cart" button that appears next to your cart total. A valid quantity range is from 1 to 99.
Remove an Item
To remove an item from your shopping cart, check the box next to the item you wish to remove and click on the "cart" icon.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

What are the different payment options available at rhythmhouse.in?
Cash on Delivery
In this option, a cash payment for your order can be made at the time of delivery. This option can only be used when the items ordered are for self-purchase and not for gifting. In order to ensure smooth delivery and cash collection, please enter the preferred time of delivery and also provide us with a day time contact number. Currently, this service is available only in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane.
Cash/Cheque Deposit (into the Rhythm House Bank of India account)
With the advent of electronic banking across India, you may wish to avail of this option. To do this, once you have finalized your selection in My Cart, proceed to Checkout, check Billing and Shipping details and then continue with the next step of selecting mode of payment. Thereafter confirm your order for the last time. You will soon receive a confirmatory email.
Demand Draft/Cheque payable at par (in Mumbai)
If you don't have near by access to a Bank of India branch/or your own bank, you may prefer to use the Demand Draft/Cheque payable at par in Mumbai option. To do this, once you have finalized your selection in My Cart, proceed to Checkout, check Billing and Shipping details and then continue with the next step of selecting mode of payment. Thereafter confirm your order for the last time. You will soon receive a confirmatory email.
Credit Cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Citi and JCB and all other major Credit Cards. We use a secure online payment gateway to process these card payments. Your card details are not accessible to us at all. They are processed directly by the card-issuing bank via the payment gateway which then issues us an authorization code for the amount of the order. While payments made via the above cards can be accepted from anywhere in the world, shipping is currently available only within India while transacting on the site.
Net Banking (for Bank Account holders only)
We accept online payments through net banking accounts of the following banks leading banks in India such as

SHIPPING INFORMATION

What is the procedure for shipping to destinations within India and abroad ?
Destinations within India
Within Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane we employ the services of reliable couriers with capability of next day delivery. For shipments elsewhere, we select courier services that offer a website tracking facility. However, for certain locations, which are not serviced by couriers, we use the Postal service.
Destinations abroad
Unless specified by the customer, we generally select courier services that are both cost effective and reliable. Wherever possible, their procedure is to bulk ship ex Mumbai to main cities, say New York/London, after which merchandise is passed on to a local courier for final destination delivery. These shipments can be tracked through the courier website. We do not use the International Parcel Post service because of regulatory impediments we have experienced.
However, for single CD/DVD orders, we attempt to ship through airmail post and are nearly always successful. We have found this method to be both reliable and cost effective.
Another cost-effective approach is to ask for CDs/DVDs without their jewel boxes. This results in a substantial reduction in courier costs, amounting to almost 50%. For those looking at 8 to 10 items and more, this option is worth considering.

How do I return a product if I need to?

In case you have received a faulty product from us,
please send it back to us and we will have it replaced immediately.

What if the product that I ordered is out of stock?
Generally, most of the products are in stock at rhythmhouse.in. In case a product has gone out of stock temporarily, we will normally need 5 additional working days (plus the lead-time) to deliver it to you. In case a product has gone out of stock for a longer period, we will not be in a position to service it in your current order and we will reverse your payment for that specific product.

Any Credit Card transaction above INR 25000/- or USD 520 is considered as a High-Value transaction and requires additional documentation before the transaction is executed.
