How do I register and create my account?
Simply fill in the form that you get when you click on the "Register now" link. Creating an account with us enables you to shop at rhythmhouse.in.
All you have to do is register with rhythmhouse.in to make use of shopping cart, wishlist and stock alert functionalities.

How do I shop at rhythmhouse.in?
Assuming you have registered, please login providing your Username and Password. You can then go ahead and use the site's functionalities.
My Cart
Choose the item(s) you want by clicking the "Cart" button. Your selection will be seen in both Mini Cart and the more detailed My Cart displays.
Wishlist
Action is similar to My Cart, except that here you place items that you want to buy but not necessarily straightaway. When you visit the site again, review these items, delete if no longer interested, let items remain as is, or even shift to My Cart should you decide to buy on this visit.
Stock Alert
Once again, action is similar to My Cart. As soon as the item becomes available, you will receive an email alert telling you so. You may then shift it to My Wishlist or My Cart.
Checkout (for shipments within India)
Once your cart selection is finalized, click the "Checkout" button. Whilst billing details are picked up from your registration, you will have the choice to modify shipping details, in case you wish to send the order to yourself at another address, or to a friend or relative elsewhere within India. Thereafter, continue with the next step in Checkout which is a final review of your order, and then select payment mode. If you select Cheque/Cash Deposit (into the Rhythm House bank accounts with BOI or HDFC), or Demand Draft/Cheque payable at par, you are straightaway requested to confirm your order. On the other hand, if you select Credit Card/Internet Banking, you will be taken to the payment gateway website for processing authorization.
Checkout (for shipments to destinations abroad)
Once your cart selection is finalized, click the "Checkout" button. Whilst billing address details are picked up from your registration, you will have the choice to modify shipping address details, in case you wish to send the order to yourself at another address, or to a friend or relative elsewhere. Thereafter, continue with the next step in Checkout which is a final review of your order and then click "Confirm Order". You will be advised thereafter to await an email giving you shipping costs and related payment information.

How do I search & browse in rhythmhouse.in?
Search
At any point in the site, the keyword search can be used to search for any product across all categories. If you wish to refine this, select options shown in the two drop-down boxes alongside. To conduct a more specific search use Advanced Search. Similarly an advanced search is also provided in case you need to conduct a more specific search.
Browse
The left column in the site displays respective genres. You can click on any of these genres to view a full listing of what is currently available in that genre. The default view is by Arrival Date of the main Genre. You may alter this by selecting from the options shown in the sub-category and View By drop-downs. Clicking on the title of any item in the listing pages takes you to a details page where more information about the product is provided.

What is a shopping cart?
A shopping cart is a virtual carry-cart that displays the number of items you have chosen to purchase, along with the total amount of your purchase. You can view your shopping cart by glancing at the Mini Cart in the right column or by clicking the My Cart link in the Mini Cart or in the top bar.

How do I update my cart?
You can make the following changes to the current items in your shopping cart:
Change the Quantity
To add or deduct the quantity of a particular item, click in the box where the quantity is mentioned, change the quantity and click on the on "Update My Cart" button that appears next to your cart total. A valid quantity range is from 1 to 99.
Remove an Item
To remove an item from your shopping cart, check the box next to the item you wish to remove and click on the "cart" icon.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

What are the different payment options available at rhythmhouse.in?
Using our payment gateway CCAvenue
All major Credit Cards (also Debit Cards) – negotiated through CCAvenue, our secure online payment gateway, in Indian Rupees,
transacted online ex our website (and also off our website).
Using PayPal
All major Credit Cards – negotiated through PayPal in US Dollars with the process commencing by a Payment Request initiated by Rhythm House.
This is an off-website payment option, suitable for international transactions, especially when the CCAvenue off-website Indian Rupees option
is at times unable to process Credit Cards that have been issued abroad.
NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) - internet banking transfers,
between bank accounts in India.
The process entails a one-time registration with your Bank for Net Banking and the Third Party Transfer (TPT) facility.
Thereafter, you need to create Rhythm House as a Beneficiary (as you would, say, to pay a bill from a utility) which would take less than 12 hours.
For this you will need our bank account details, provided below *. Once this is done, you are set to use TPT.
Note please, your Bank will debit you for each transaction of this facility and currently banks charge Rs 5/- (plus Service Tax) per transfer.
So if you select this option, once you have finalized your order in My Cart, proceed to Checkout, check Billing and Shipping details and then
continue with the next step of choosing mode of payment. Thereafter confirm your order for the last time.
You will soon receive a confirmatory email. We will then await the NEFT transfer into our bank before executing the order.
Cheque/Cash Deposit (into the Rhythm House Bank of India/HDFC
bank accounts *)
If you select this option, once you have finalized your order in My Cart, proceed to Checkout, check billing and shipping details
and then continue with the next step of choosing mode of payment. Thereafter confirm your order for the last time.
You will soon receive a confirmatory email. We will then await funds deposit into our bank before executing the order.
Demand Draft/Cheque payable at par (in Mumbai)
If you don’t have near by access to a Bank of India/HDFC Bank branch, you may prefer to use the Demand Draft/Cheque payable at par
in Mumbai option. To do this, once you have finalized your selection in My Cart, proceed to Checkout, check billing and shipping details
and then continue with the next step of selecting mode of payment. Thereafter confirm your order for the last time.
You will soon receive a confirmatory email. We will then await receipt of your payment instrument before executing the order.
Cash on Delivery (Not Available)
We have discontiued this option that was available in the Mumbai area wef 1st May 2011. We urge users who are apprehensive about
the use of Credit/Debit Cards to switch over to the Net Banking third party payment facility that is offered by most banks in India.

What is CCAvenue?
CCAvenue is a company which processes our credit card/internet banking payment transactions. They are the intermediary between us and the card acquiring bank, viz. Axis Bank/ICICI Bank.

What is PayPal?
It is an established global payment gateway offering various online payment solutions.
Credit cards and bank accounts are two of these. Currently this service is restricted to foreign card owners.
PayPal transactions are off-website, conducted via email.

Can I change the payment option for an order that I have already placed?
Yes, but you will need to send us an email quoting your order number at helpdesk@rhythmhouse.in.
We will then respond confirming your change and inform you if any further action is required from your end.

What is the procedure for shipping to destinations within India and abroad ?
Destinations within India
Within Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane we employ the services of reliable couriers with capability of next day delivery. For shipments elsewhere, we select courier services that offer a website tracking facility. However, for certain locations/pincodes, which are not serviced by couriers, we use the Postal service.
Destinations abroad
We offer shipping options using couriers, international speedpost and registered airmail post. If desired, to reduce shipping costs, we also dispatch merchandise without jewel cases.

What are the shipping charges applicable for my order?
Destinations within India
Free shipping – for orders of Rs 325/- and above in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane; and for orders of Rs 495/- and above to other locations in India.
For orders less than Rs 325/- in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane shipping will be charged at Rs 40/-; and to other locations in India, for orders less than Rs 495/- shipping will be charged at Rs 85/-.
Destinations abroad
Each order and destination is treated on a one-off basis. After order weight is determined,
we may advise modifications to the order to get the most out of courier slab rates.

How do I return a product if I need to?
In the event you need to return a product, send us an email at helpdesk@rhythmhouse.in providing us with the following details:

In case you have received a faulty product from us,
please send it back to us and we will have it replaced immediately.

In case you have received a wrong product from us,
please send it back to us and we will replace it with the correct one immediately.
In case it is unavailable at that time, we will recommend an alternative or arrange for a refund.

If for any other reason you wish to return a product to us,
please ensure that it is be in saleable condition (i.e. with the seal intact) and we will replace it
with another product of the same value.

There will be no exchanges, returns or refunds on SALE/discounted merchandise.

The cost of sending the product back will be mutually decided and in most cases you will find us amenable.
In the case of a wrong supply we will naturally be responsible for return/replacement costs.

In case a product has gone out of stock temporarily, we will normally need 7 additional working days to deliver it to you. In case a product has gone out of stock for a longer period, we will not be in a position to service it in your current order and we will reverse your payment for that specific product.
